AMS-IX Bay Area Expands into Telx's San Francisco Data Centre

AMS-IX USA Inc., the U.S. subsidiary of AMS-IX (Amsterdam Internet Exchange), and Telx, a leading provider of global interconnectivity, data centre solutions, and cloud enablement services, today announce a partnership to open up a new AMS-IX Bay Area Point of Presence (PoP) within Telx's SFR1 data centre facility located at 200 Paul Avenue in San Francisco, California.

This partnership enables AMS-IX Bay Area and Telx to provide additional reliable, fast, and cost-effective peering opportunities to connected parties on the AMS-IX platform, including customers that are located in other data centre facilities. Customers of AMS-IX Bay Area can also locate and/or expand their equipment in Telx's secure and network-rich interconnection facility, SFR1.
